At Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshpaing we offer a comprehensive program that is designed to give all Fitness levels eXtreme results! Whether you are out of shape and need to lose weight, an active athlete looking to boost performance, or have never stepped foot in a gym, our 10 Week Fitness Challenge can help you meet your goals and give you the foundation for lasting long term results! Our instructor led program is comprised of the following four components:

Kickboxing classes
Our Kickboxing classes, derived from martial arts, are high intensity cardio classes that burn fat and build endurance while offering variety and fun!

Strength Training
Strength Training is essential to building lean muscle and burning fat. The more lean muscle you have the more calories you will burn even at rest. Using Resistance bands provides the benefits of building core strength and muscle endurance in a safe environment.

Nutrition Coaching
If you are looking to change your body you have to focus on Nutrition. We will provide the resources and coaching to make sure that you able to fuel your body for optimal results. Healthy eating is essential to provide you body with the proper nutrition to build muscle, burn fat, and reshape your body.

Accountability
Our certified instructors are trained to keep you safe, motivated and working hard to help you reach your Level 10 in every class. Instructors add variety and fun to every class. Our coaches are there working out beside you to provide you with one-on-one support. They encourage, motivate, answer question, and help guide you through the 10 Week Program.

Motivation is a psychological game. You’ve heard the phrase “mind over matter” and that’s exactly how you need to think about motivation. It’s that crucial piece of the puzzle to achieving your goals. For some, motivation comes easy. For others, it doesn’t. Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping is unique in that our community of members helps keep each other motivated and accountable.

About 15 years ago, I decided to make a change in my life. Weight was always something that I had struggled with and I was tired of always being the “fat kid”. At the time, I weighed in at 384 pounds! With fierce determination, I set out to lose weight in best way I knew how: I cut my calories to 1400 per day and did as much cardio as I possibly could. About 9 months later, I found myself under 200 pounds for the first time since grade school. I was happy, but there was only one problem. This was not a sustainable lifestyle. Losing weight this way worked, but along with all of the fat I had lost I burned away most of my muscle definition as well. I knew this had to change, so I started weight training and switched my diet from calorie restriction to calorie consumption with the goal of increasing muscle mass as much as I could while maintaining a relatively low body weight. This worked great for a while and I found myself being in the best shape of my life when I was 22 years old.
It was around this time that I met my soon to be wife and began to settle down. We moved in together and were married a couple of years later. I kept the weight off during this time, but I was slowly starting to exercise less and less and relied on the physical aspects of my job to keep me in shape. My eating habits changed as well and I slowly switched back to what I knew best. Over the next 10 years, my career changed and I found myself sitting at a computer for most of the day. Meanwhile, my exercise and eating habits kept getting worse and worse. I would try to diet and lose weight off and on without much success and eventually the pounds started to pile up.
I September of 2015, the unthinkable happened. I stepped on the scale and saw a number that scared me to death: 384. It had happened. I had gained every single pound back that I had worked so hard to lose in my early twenties. I had to do something, but I didn’t know how. I knew I couldn’t do it the same way I had done before. I was beside myself with anger, sadness and confusion over how I had allowed myself to become this way again. As I confided in one of my coworkers about my frustrations, he told me about Farrell’s. I was curious about it, but remained skeptical. He encouraged me to join and we signed up together for the October 2015 session.
Joining FXB has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like FXB was going to be different from the other programs I had tried. It wasn’t just about exercise. It was about teaching you how to live a lifestyle. The nutrition program taught me how to eat properly and the team atmosphere during the workouts kept me motivated. At the end of my 10 week session, I had lost 36 pounds and 24 inches off of my body! I also doubled my pushup and sit-up numbers and reduced my mile time by 2:30. I had already made the decision to continue my FXB journey as a fit member by the end of my 10 weeks, but my results motivated me to share my love of this program as coach for the 5:30 session. It is my hope that I can help to motivate my team members as they begin their FXB journey and as I continue mine!
